Outside of normal paving, another very common option is a Tegula driveway. Tegula paving is designed to be laid in a less uniform style in comparison to paving with an option of using 1,2 or 3 different sizes to create a truly random feel to it.
It is often compared with cobblestone and its overall design once the Tegula has been laid on your driveway which is done the same as laying block paving, it will give it a more traditional feel to it. It generally is available in the same colours as block paving but that will depend on the manufacturer you choose for it.
Tegula is the common name used by both Marshalls (Drivesett) and Tobermore, with options for normal texture or a tumbled texture that gives it an aged look. A similar equivalent is from Brett under the name of Beta Trio however they offer a more exclusive range called Aura as well.
Most paving manufacturers all have similar products and as long as the manufacturer is reputable you can trust the product. The general reason for picking one over the other is the colour and texture of the finish as each manufacturer provides different options.
Along with the Tegula itself on a driveway, you can have other options that will go along with it such as Tegula Kerb edging, Drivesett Kerb and Driveline 4 in 1 Kerb which all from the style and finish will suit the Tegula driveway perfectly. There is an option for permeable paving using Tegula styled paving available to choose from as well.
Here are a few examples of Tegula Driveways and why they make an excellent addition to the front of any home in Guildford.
